Font - Crystal McCullough Stella my black cat will be strolling back from the neighbor's house each afternoon about the time I enter our neighborhood. If I vary my arrival time I sometimes see her making a mad dash into our backyard. By the time I have pulled into the garage she has scampered back in through the pet door out back and is waiting for me next to her food dishes, acting like she was there the whole time. Cat - Top fan Carrie Bryan Julia snuck out behind me as I was taking out the trash. Fortunately she went next door instead of down the stairs, and as my neighbor's door was shut I was able to chase her back into our apartment. She's now on my list as an escape artist. Font - Joanna Weber In the early 90's we were adopted by a young ginger cat who followed us home one day. We named him Milo and he was a very tolerant and loving kitty to 3 children who were not always the gentlest with him. He loved to be part of whatever we were doing including following my mum when she went to visit a neighbour for a cup of tea. He would sit in the neighbours garden and when he thought mum had been away from the house for too long he would start meowing insistently for her to

Font - Kim Oravetz Ours hitched a ride, unbeknownst to us, in a wheel well or engine area, with my husband on his way to work. Every few days when he stopped to get gas, he would also drive through their window and get a coffee. Obviously, we couldn't find her at home for two or three weeks. One day, as my husband stopped to get gas and coffee, Kitty strolled up to the car, like "where ya been, man?!" He brought her straight home and she only strayed one other time, to hitch a ride with the baby

Felidae - Cathrine Moen This is Isabel. I regularly meet her a couple of streets over. She goes there to bully a cat who lives there. Every time I walk down that street she comes running;"OMG! I can't believe you are here! I thought I'd never see you again! Lift me up, hold me tight and carry me home to safety!" The only one not safe is the poor bullied cat trying to live a peaceful life on that street. Rinse and repeat, a couple of times a week. Like Reply Hide Send Message 1d

Cat - Katie Terrill Kali (my first cat as an adult) used to greet me outside as I came home. She learned my schedule and would meet me at the street. It was adorable. Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d OD 8

Font - Nuala Kranas Only outside our backgate, by our garage. She was actually miaowing her head off because the gate was locked, and it is too high for her to jump up and over. Stella, was very indignant and gave me a right telling off when I unlocked the gate. I felt so guilty, and spent ages apologising to her and trying to placate her...Dreamies, Licky-lix, meat sticks...she was a little madam! Like Reply Hide Send Message 1d Edited 2

Font - Leigh Musicof Yes, I was coming off the bus from high school and saw one of our cats coming out of an alley by the main road. I yelled at him to go home. I hope the noise and cars from the main road scared him. I never saw him there again. Edit: this was the mid 1980s and none of our cats are allowed outside. Like Reply Hide Send Message 1d Edited

Rectangle - Richard Dinnen It would be hilarious if your cat behaved as if they didn't know you especially in front of the other cats. And then later on at home, they would be all lovey- dovey. Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d Edited 7

Rectangle - Andi Kelly I caught my cat sneaking to the neighbours house down the street to eat the food she put on the door step. As soon as he saw me, he meowed and ran all the way back home without me saying a word. Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d 3

Font - Top fan Michael Conger Funny story... It was quite a long time ago, and my parents/family cat. In my early 20s, I used to come home late (as most early 20s guys did in the early 90s). I parked on the road in front of the house and Smokey, our silver tabby, was always hanging around the front yard waiting for me to let him in. Our thing was I parked, got out, he came over and I would pick him up and bring him in with me. So one night I may possibly have been a bit inebriated, but got home
